Westminster Hills Dog Park
Darby's Favorite Reasons to Love This Hike:
-
This suburban off leash dog park is 420 acres of trails and mostly fenced in. Easily accesible from Westminster, Arvada, Broomfield, Boulder, Northglenn, Thorton, etc.
-
Views of the mountains of Golden, Boulder, and beyond. Colorado Hills Open Space also neighbors the park to the west, and views of Standley Lake to the south.
-
Wildflowers everywhere! Only a few trees to block the sun; it's best to visit when it's not too sunny or windy. Great to visit in the winter, fall, and springtime.
-
Dog drinking fountain- to quench our thirst from running around, and sometimes there is a doggy pool, depending on the season.
