Darby's Favorite Reasons Love this Hike
-
This is a popular walk because it's flat and east of the mountains, so it's easy to get to; South Boulder Creek meanders through trees and open, farm fields. It is also accessible almost all year long. This part of the trail participates in the City of Boulders Voice and Sight Program, so I can be offleash if I wear the right tag (see below). Parking is limited, so get here off-peak walking hours to get a spot.
-
Bikes, wheel chairs, and horses are welcome on the paved, multi-use trail that parallels the single track trail that is pedestrian (and dog) only.
-
Go west, at the multi-use intersection about .6 mile from the parking lot, and connects to the East Boulder Dog Park (about .2 miles-566 Sioux Dr, Boulder ).
-
Views west towards the Flatiron Mountains, Eldorado Canyon, and Indian Peaks, and to the east you may see cows grazing the farmland.
