Macadamia Nut Bars Directions

  1. Soften the dates and remove the pits: Boil water in a saucepan, add the dates for 1 minute. Remove from the water and it shoulde be easy to take the pits out.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a food processor for several minutes until everything is mixed well.
  3. Press into plastic sheet in a square baking dish until you get it all into a neat sheet that is about 1 inch thick. I use a glass baking dish, the mixture fills about 1/2 the dish.
  4. Put into the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, until it sets.
  5. Cut into bars, and enjoy them or wrap them up and take with you on the go. Can stay in the refrigerator for up to a week. Enjoy!
